I have 25 years’ experience in the international development sector and not for profit sectors in various levels of seniority. I now work primarily as a leadership and team coach, where my grounded presence, empathy, and genuine interest in people helps my clients gain clarity about what they want to achieve and change, and to access the resources they have within them to bring this about. My clients inevitably work within complex systems, where the pathways to change are not clear cut. Our work together is focused on developing the skills and mindset necessary to engage fully and effectively in the process of change.
My approach tends to be a mixture of structured conversations (by email supported by synchronous conversations at intervals), and the use of specific tools and exercises, chosen according to the needs and preferred learning styles of my client. My intuition plays a large part in my work, and clients appreciate the extent to which my simple yet powerful questions stimulate deep awareness.
