Terms of registration International eCoach & eCounselor Register
Goals
Maintaining a high quality international register of professional online tutors (collective name for all professionals working in people development) who work according to the ABC model, the UNLOQ methodology and the three basic principles of online tutoring. The register has three objectives:
- visualization of high-quality professionals in the field of online tutoring;
- encouraging the continuous professional development of online professionals;
- maintaining the use of the labels "Certified eCoach '&' Certified eCounselor.
Content registration
Registration offers the following features:
- exposure in the Register with name, personal profile and link to your own website;
- communication of hallmark 'Certified eCoach' or 'Certified eCounselor' through personal communication channels after registration;
- access to annual peer review meeting with Certified colleagues;
- supervision provided by UNLOQ;
- to be informed of the ongoing evolvement of the UNLOQ development of the methodology for online tutoring;
Conditions (re)registration
Registration in the Register is possible when the competencies are met as defined in the 'Competence scheme Online Tutors (eCoaches and eCounselors)' and meets the following additional requirements:
Certified Level I ePractioner
- meets the corresonding competencies of Level I from the 'Competence schedule online tutors';
- has completed training in counseling skills, human, medical and / or social sciences at least at college level and has at least one year relevant work experience;
- agree to the terms and conditions of the actual use of the hallmark.
Re-registration
- can demonstrate a minimum of 60 hours online guidance and has supervised at least 12 clients;
- can demonstrate at least five evaluations spread over the last five years;
Certified Level II eSenior
- completed training in counseling skills, human, medical and / or social sciences at least at college level and has at least two year relevant work experience;
- meet the competencies corresponding to Level I & Level II of the 'Competence scheme online tutors';
- agrees to the terms, costs and conditions of the actual use of the hallmark.
Re-registration
- can demonstrate a minimum of 140 hours online guidance and has supervised at least 20 clients;
- can demonstrate at least five evaluations spread over the last five years;
- participated in at least one peer review meeting per calendar year which is officially recognized by the Register.
Certified Level III eMaster
- completed training in counseling skills, human, medical and / or social sciences at least at college level and has at least two year relevant work experience and can demonstrate a minimum of 120 hours of online guidance;
- meet the competencies corresponding with Level I, Level II and Level III of the 'Competence schedule online tutors'
- agrees to the terms, costs and conditions of the actual use of the hallmark.
Re-registration
- can demonstrate a minimum of 140 hours online guidance and has supervised at least 20 clients;
- can demonstrate at least five evaluations spread over the last five years;
- has at least a minimum of 25 hours provided training activities in the field of online tutoring (including providing training, workshops, peer review facilitation, supervision and examinations activities) per calendar year;
- participated in at least one peer review meeting or supervision per calendar year which is officially recognized by the Register.
Registration costs
The registration costs are differentiated in assessment and administration costs. The cost for a Level I registration is € 250, - per five years. For Level II and Level III the registration is € 275, - per five years. This amount includes one-time assessment fee of € 175, - (Level I) or € 200 (Level II / III), -. The total amount will be charged at the beginning of a registration period. After payment, the review process starts. After successful completion of the review, the registration is automatically made visible in the Register. In case of a negative registration outcome only the costs of the assessment will be charged, the remaining amount will be refunded.
Supervision and Peer Review Costs
It is possible to attend individual supervision or peer review meetings. The costs will be charged separately for each activity. The costs of individual supervision are € 200, - per person. The supervisor studies and evaluates a complete program and will provide written feedback combined with a 30 minute telephone feedback session. The costs of peer review meetings facilitated by a Level III eMaster are € 95, - per person and take place in groups. From Level II it is mandatory to take part in the Register peer review meetings.
